Video Games And More

My son is a video game freak as I call him. He loves to play different games from combat to sports games and everything inbetween. Now some of the games that are on the market are pretty violent and shouldn’t be published, but that’s for another time and place. This column is the good about video games. Your thinking their is good in video games, yes their is. The best thing I love about video games is the competition between me and my son. It takes us away from problems and gets us a chance to spend some time together.

We can be ourselves and laugh about each other’s mistakes and just play hour after hour. It really doesn’t matter who wins or loses, because we are both winners in the time we get to spend together. Some of the video games are horrible, but the ones that bond a dad and his son are priceless. Times have changed and so do values, but one thing doesn’t the love a dad has for their kids. Many times that is lost in this cruel world. Enjoy your time with your kids as a dad I know I am.

    I have a 9 year old that loves his video games. I used to be the same way and can’t wait until he wants to get into Madden and some other sports games…

    Yeah the bad part as you get older you have to get use to him beating you lol
